Gazebo Workshop — Sept 13

Want to improve your ability to think on your feet & have fun while doing it? Then this Improv Workshop is for YOU. In this inclusive hands-on improv workshop YOU will learn the tools to "Improv like a Boss" in any occasion & become socially fearless. Garrett Gray, Director of Main Stage Improv will have attendees step out of their shells, group their improv skills, and most importantly have FUN while doing so! You will learn principles such as active listening, thinking & speaking on our feet, and supporting your teammates which are useful skills on an improv stage, in a classroom, at work and in all facets of life!

Main Stage Improv’s Adult Advanced Improv Course

When students graduate Main Stage Improv's Adult Improv Fundamentals course, they always ask "What's Next?" This advanced class is designed to take students to the next level of improv as students learn to build on their previous improv skills and perform advanced short form improv games and long form improv games. Garrett has trained at The Second City Chicago, Laugh Out Loud Schaumburg and Comedy Sportz. Prerequisite to take this class: Main Stage Improv's Adult Fundamentals Improv course or equivalent (instructor must approve any exceptions).

Adult Improv Fundamentals

Looking for a local adult Improv class that won’t cost you time and gas money just to get to? Well, look no further! Garrett Gray of Main Stage Productions will instruct adults on the fundamentals of improv in his popular 8-week course consisting of seven (7) 2 hour classes, one (1) two hour show rehearsal and one (1) 1 hour improv show (graduation) designed to empower students to put on and star in their very own improv show! By enrolling in this course you’ll obtain the following tools: basic principles of improv, object work, exposure to character work, active listening, how to support your teammates, and how to do fun improv games with your teammates. For their graduation, students will perform in their very own 1 hour improv show! Garrett Gray is the Director of “Main Stage Improv”, Assistant Director of Orland Park’s “No Limit Laughs” improv and his Second City troupe “100% Gluten”. Garrett has trained at The Second City Chicago, Laugh Out Loud Schaumburg and Comedy Sportz. Garrett is a co-founder of the Yes And Toastmasters Club in Bolingbrook which combines improv with public speaking.

Main Stage Improv’s Adult Fundamentals Improv Course
